After the Toss-Up comes the heart of the game: the regular rounds. This is where players take turns spinning the big wheel, hoping to land on high dollar values and avoid bankrupting themselves. The basic cycle is simple but full of tension.

Control passes to the next player if they spin Bankrupt, Lose a Turn, or guess a letter that isn't in the puzzle. This continues until someone solves the puzzle, adding the value of their bank to their total winnings for the show. Most of the game is spent in these regular rounds, building up the cash totals that determine the day's big winner.

The player who has accumulated the most money and prizes after all the regular rounds moves on to the Bonus Round. This is their solo shot at a huge prize, like a new car or a large cash amount.

A new, smaller puzzle is presented. The player is given a few standard letters for free—R, S, T, L, N, and E. They then choose a few more consonants and a vowel to help them out. After that, a short timer starts, and they have one chance to solve the puzzle and claim the grand prize.
