Just like God the Father and God the Son, the Holy Spirit is eternal, all-knowing, all-powerful, and present everywhere. He shares the same divine attributes because He is God.

In Salvation: The Holy Spirit's role in a person's salvation is essential. He is the one who convicts people of their sin and their need for a savior. When someone puts their faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit makes them spiritually new. He comes to live inside every believer, acting as a constant guide, comforter, and helper. This indwelling is the start of a lifelong process of transformation, where the Spirit works to make a believer more like Christ.
