For Dr. Mohammed Rashid, that journey began with a strong foundation at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), where he earned his medical degree. With his degree in hand, Dr. Rashid moved to the United Kingdom to pursue advanced postgraduate training. A critical early step was achieving membership in the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP). This qualification is a significant milestone, signifying a doctor's ability to practice at a high level in internal medicine and serving as a prerequisite for entering specialist training in the UK.

Passing the MRCP exams opened the door to a highly competitive training post as a Specialist Registrar in Liver and Gastroenterology. This role placed Dr. Rashid in some of London’s most prestigious and demanding clinical environments. He honed his skills at world-renowned institutions, including the Royal Free Hospital, Bart's and the Royal London Hospital, and University College London Hospital (UCLH). Each hospital offered unique challenges and learning opportunities, exposing him to a wide spectrum of complex cases in hepatobiliary medicine and transplantation.

His training was not confined to central London. Dr. Rashid also completed rotations at Chase Farm Hospital and Queens Hospital Romford. This diverse experience ensured he was proficient in managing a broad range of conditions in different settings, from tertiary referral centers dealing with the most complex liver diseases to busy district general hospitals.

The culmination of this intensive training period was achieving the British Board certification. This is not a single exam, but a final validation of a doctor's competency after years of supervised practice and assessments. Dr. Rashid successfully earned this certification in three distinct but related areas: Gastroenterology, General Internal Medicine, and the highly specialized field of Hepatology and Liver Transplantation.

This rigorous, comprehensive training in the UK provided Dr. Rashid with the deep expertise and advanced clinical skills that form the bedrock of his practice today. It was this foundation that allowed him to return to Jordan as a leading expert in his field.
