Check Your System First

Before you get excited about new features, the first step is a practical one: making sure your computer can handle SolidWorks 2025. Running powerful CAD software on under-specced hardware is a recipe for frustration. You'll likely experience slow performance, laggy model manipulation, and unexpected crashes.

SolidWorks provides official system requirements for each new version. They are not mere suggestions; they are the baseline for a stable and productive experience. Trying to cut corners here will cost you more time in the long run.

Back Up Everything
