  • Meta-Model: This is the foundation of the framework. The NAF Meta-Model (NMM) defines the underlying language, grammar, and rules for describing an architecture. It ensures that all the elements and their relationships are defined consistently, like a dictionary defines words and grammar rules define sentences.

  • Glossary, References, and Bibliography: These supporting resources provide clear definitions for all terminology used within NAF and cite the sources and standards the framework is built upon. This ensures everyone is speaking the same language and understands the context.

Together, these components provide a comprehensive and rigorous toolkit for designing and managing complex systems, enabling better decision-making and seamless collaboration.
