- Select a rep range for an exercise (e.g., 8-12 reps).
- Choose a weight where you can perform at least 8 reps, but not yet 12.
- First Progression: In each workout, try to add reps to your sets until you can successfully complete all of your target sets at the top of the rep range (e.g., 3 sets of 12).
