The Central Processing Unit (CPU) is your computer’s brain. It executes instructions and performs the calculations needed for everything your PC does, from loading an application to managing complex game physics. For this build, we're choosing the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X.
This CPU hits the sweet spot for gaming. It has 6 cores and 12 threads, which means it can handle multiple tasks at once with ease. Its high clock speeds, up to 5.3 GHz, ensure that it processes game data incredibly fast, leading to smoother frame rates and a more responsive experience.

The CPU needs a place to live, and that's the motherboard. It's the foundation that connects every single component. We're pairing our CPU with an MSI B650 motherboard. This board is built on the AM5 socket, making it a perfect match for the Ryzen 7000 series CPUs like our 7600X.
This compatibility is non-negotiable. The motherboard's chipset, in this case B650, determines which features are available, such as support for the latest memory and storage types. This board supports DDR5 RAM and has PCIe 5.0 slots, ensuring we can use the fastest components available today and have room for future upgrades.
Speedy Memory and Storage
Next up are memory (RAM) and storage. RAM is like your computer's short-term memory. It holds the data your CPU needs to access right now, like the game level you're currently playing. We're opting for 32GB of DDR5 RAM.

The Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) is arguably the most important component for a gaming PC. It's responsible for rendering the images you see on your screen. Our choice is the Gigabyte Radeon RX 7700 XT. This GPU provides excellent performance for playing modern games at high settings, especially at 1080p and 1440p resolutions. It's packed with 12GB of VRAM, which is crucial for handling high-resolution textures and complex visual effects.
High-performance components generate a lot of heat, and keeping them cool is essential for stability and longevity. The Ryzen 5 7600X can run hot under load, so we're using a 360mm AIO (All-In-One) liquid cooler. An AIO uses liquid to transfer heat from the CPU to a large radiator, where fans dissipate it. A 360mm radiator provides a large surface area for cooling, ensuring our CPU stays at safe temperatures even during intense gaming sessions.
Finally, all these parts need a steady supply of clean, reliable electricity. That's the job of the Power Supply Unit (PSU). We've selected an 850W power supply. This provides more than enough power for our chosen components, with plenty of wattage left over for future upgrades. It's crucial not to skimp on the PSU. A high-quality, reliable unit protects your expensive components from power fluctuations and ensures system stability.
With these parts selected, we have a balanced, powerful system ready for any modern game. Each component was chosen to work in harmony with the others, preventing bottlenecks and maximizing performance.
