Section 3: The Step-by-Step Forge-Welding Protocol

Forge-welding spell-alloys is a delicate dance of chemistry, thermodynamics, and pure physical exertion. Deviating from this protocol will result in delamination (separation of the layers), crystal fracturing, or the complete dissipation of the materials' latent magical charge.

Step 1: Mechanical and Chemical Cleansing

Before heating, the surfaces of the metals to be joined must be completely free of oil, scale, rust, or soot.
