It's wonderful to have you on board! Since you're ready to see how the Mongol military worked, we have to start where they did: the harsh, windswept grasslands of the Eurasian . This immense, treeless environment was the ultimate training ground for the soldiers who would eventually conquer most of the known world.
To understand their military, we first have to look at how their daily life on the steppe made every single Mongol a natural-born soldier. From early childhood, every boy and girl learned to ride horses and shoot bows just to help the tribe survive.
