Welcome! I'm excited to explore the rich, soulful world of jazz history with you. Before we dive into the brassy streets of old New Orleans, I'd love to know a bit more about what brings you here.

To help me tailor our conversation, what is your current interest in jazz? Are you a musician, a fan, or just curious about history?

I'm a musician looking to understand the roots.

It's wonderful to have a fellow musician on this journey. Understanding how jazz evolved from a blend of cultural traditions into a complex, expressive language will likely change how you hear and play the music.
