What can I learn as sqa engineers

Welcome! I am excited to help you map out your journey to becoming a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer. Before we dive into the learning path, I would love to learn a little bit about you so I can customize our pace and examples.

What is your current background? For example, are you currently a student, looking to switch careers from another field, or already working in tech and wanting to pivot?

I am already in tech (e.g., developer or support) looking to pivot

It is great to have you here! Since you are already working in the tech industry, you likely have a front-row seat to how fast-paced development can be—and why having a solid defense line is so important.

Your background in tech will give you a major head start as we explore this roadmap. Let's begin by looking at the custom path we will take to get you fully prepped for an role.

The Role of an SQA Engineer

Let's dive into our very first milestone: defining what an Engineer actually does on a day-to-day basis.

At its heart, an SQA Engineer is the champion of the user experience and product reliability. Instead of just writing code to build features, you write code and design systems to break, challenge, and verify those features. Rather than playing catch-up at the end of a cycle, you work side-by-side with developers from the very beginning to ensure quality is baked into the software's DNA.
