It looks like we have a classic case of double-meaning here! In the world of school exams, "P1" is the common shorthand for "Pure Mathematics 1"—an advanced, high-level algebra and calculus course taken by older teenagers prepping for university. But "P1" is also the standard label used in many international schools for Primary 1, which is the very beginning of elementary school math for kids who are around 6 to 7 years old.

Since these are two completely different worlds of mathematics, we want to make sure we set up the perfect course for you. Are we going to dive into basic counting, addition, and shapes for a younger student? Or are we diving into advanced coordinates, quadratics, and functions for an older student preparing for their college entrance exams?
