Before we build our master lesson plan, let's start at the very beginning: What actually is ?
At its heart, color theory is a practical combination of science and art that explains how we perceive color, how different colors mix and contrast with each other, and the subliminal messages those colors send to our brains. For your high school students, a great way to pitch it is as a "visual cheat code"—once they know how colors talk to each other, they can instantly make their designs, outfits, or artwork look intentional and powerful.
