Full stack sales funnel engineering
Welcome! I am excited to dive into this with you. Before we architect any systems or write any automation scripts, I want to make sure I tailor our journey to your specific needs.
To help me customize the examples and technical depth, could you tell me a little about your background? For instance, are you coming at this from a marketing, sales, or technical/development perspective, and what is your primary goal for building sales funnels?
I have a technical background (dev/engineering) and want to automate pipelines.
It is great to meet a fellow engineer. Since you already understand how to build and debug complex systems, you are going to find that a sales funnel is really just another data pipeline — where the "data" passing through the system happens to be human beings.
The Engineering Lens on Revenue
Think of it like designing a data processing pipeline. If you have an input of low-quality data (unqualified traffic), your processing scripts (your sales pages and email sequences) will crash, or output garbage (unqualified sales calls). We want to build robust validation checks, error handling, and automated routing to make sure only high-value, highly qualified prospects make it to the end of our pipe.
To design this pipeline, we need a logical framework to model how a human user transitions from a complete stranger to a customer. Shall we look at the core architectural framework used to model this flow?
