What Is Quantitative Finance?

At its heart, quantitative finance is the practice of using mathematical and statistical tools to understand and predict financial markets. 2. Derivative Pricing

3. Algorithmic Trading

Becoming a Quant

A career in quantitative finance is challenging but rewarding. It typically requires a strong foundation in several key areas. While finance knowledge is important, deep technical skill is what truly sets a quant apart.
