What is Product Management?

At its core, product management is the organizational function that guides every step of a product’s lifecycle: from the very first spark of an idea, through development, to its launch and continuous optimization. Rather than building the product physically or writing the actual code, a product manager acts as the of a company. They bring together different teams—like engineers, designers, and marketers—to make sure everyone is building the right thing for the customer while meeting business goals.
