The first trick we'll master is a classic called The Reversed Card. A participant picks a card, puts it back into the deck, and without any obvious moves, you make their chosen card magically turn face up in the middle of the deck.

The secret lies entirely in a tiny preparation before you start: secretly flipping over the bottom card of the deck so it faces up while the rest face down.

Let's dive right into setting up The Reversed Card trick! Before you even approach your audience, you'll need to do one quick secret move.

Hold the deck facing down like normal, then secretly flip the bottom card face up. To anyone looking at the top or sides of the deck, everything looks completely ordinary.

To pull this off naturally, you can do it behind your back, under a table, or simply turn away for a second while pretending to mix the deck. Now, the rest of the deck is face down, but that bottom card is secretly face up.
