Imagine a city, but instead of people and buildings, it is populated by billions of stars, massive clouds of cosmic gas, and mysterious dark matter, all dancing together in space under the tight grip of gravity. That's a galaxy. Our own home, the Milky Way, is just one of these colossal cosmic neighborhoods.
