It is completely natural to be curious about those. What you are looking at are called the lacrimal puncta (or a single ), and they are actually the drains of your eye's built-in plumbing system.

Before we explore exactly how this drainage system funnels tears away, let's make sure we can picture exactly where they sit on your face.
